Colour Rush 4.0

The Colour Rush is a 5KM run for children with cancer, in conjunction with the International Childhood Cancer Day 2016. The main purpose of the event is to wake the society up about the awarness of cancer among children nowadays in Sarawak. There are three places for this event to be accomplished this year, the main cities in Sarawak, like Kuching, Miri and Sibu. The colour comes in the form of edible powder, representing our hope, faith, and strength for these children. There is many activity for the participants to enjoy during the event itself, such as Zumba, karoeke and so much more. The run which is the main event, Marathon around the city will consist of runners from all walks of life, regardless of your background. For the people around during the event should participate and make this run a fun-filled, memorable, and meaningful experience. This kind of event is very meaningful among society in term of increasing awareness of cancer among children espescially in Sarawak. For my opinion, the society should be able to be more aware of this type of health problems in order to get more support to help these children whether in form of mutual respect, money, facility and so on, in distant future. I wish I could join this type of programme in distant future, to give any form of attributes for children that are having health issues. Well what are you waiting for Sarawakian? Join in!
